These website terms explain current practices in plain language. They do not replace a signed, project-specific service agreement or professional advice for a particular situation.
1. Requests and proposals
The website builder creates a nonbinding request. After review, we may ask questions and provide a written proposal. A proposal should identify the deliverables, price, payment schedule, feedback and approval process, client responsibilities, expected timing, outside services, and support. Neither side is required to proceed until the stated acceptance steps are completed.
2. Payments
This website does not collect project payments. The standard project deposit is $200 and is credited toward the total project cost. Remaining payments may be split into milestones in the proposal or agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all outstanding balances must be paid before final launch, transfer, or delivery. Outside provider fees and applicable taxes are separate unless expressly included.
3. Scope, revisions, and changes
The written proposal defines the pages, add-ons, content responsibilities, and included revision rounds. Work outside that scope may require a written change order with added cost and time. We will not add an unapproved charge. Ongoing maintenance, support, and new features are separately scoped unless the signed agreement includes them.
4. Timing and client responsibilities
Any schedule depends on timely content, access, decisions, and feedback from the client, as well as availability of third-party services. A requested deadline is not guaranteed until confirmed in writing. The client is responsible for providing accurate information, lawful content, necessary rights and permissions, and access to services that the client controls.
5. Content, ownership, and portfolio use
The client keeps ownership of materials it provides. Ownership and licensing of final custom work, reusable code, third-party components, fonts, stock media, plugins, and open-source material will be stated in the signed agreement. Any transfer of final deliverables may be conditioned on full payment. We will request permission in the project agreement before using nonpublic client information or work in a portfolio.
6. Third-party tools
Domains, hosting, analytics, email, booking, payment, ordering, point-of-sale, delivery, content-management, and other services may be operated by third parties. Their fees, account rules, outages, changes, and data practices are outside our control. We will identify known dependencies, but compatibility must be confirmed for the actual provider and account before promising an integration.
7. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation rights, deposits, refunds, completed-work charges, and delivery of work in progress will be stated in the signed agreement. Because services involve reserved time and custom work, no universal refund promise applies to every project. This website request itself is free and can be abandoned without charge before an agreement is signed.
8. Ongoing care plans
Hosting and website management, maintenance, and priority support are optional services that may be purchased separately or together. The signed agreement states monthly limits, support channels, response targets, and any infrastructure costs beyond normal usage. Priority support does not guarantee immediate resolution. We will not enroll or charge a customer for recurring service through the project request form. Any recurring plan requires separate written consent that clearly states the price, billing frequency, included work, renewal terms, and cancellation method. When online enrollment is offered, cancellation will be available through an easy online method as required by applicable law. Until then, clients may request cancellation at Business@payloadertech.com, subject to the signed agreement.
9. Results and professional review
We can design, build, configure, and test the agreed website, but we do not guarantee a particular search ranking, number of leads, sales level, revenue, legal outcome, or uninterrupted third-party service. Clients remain responsible for industry-specific legal, tax, privacy, licensing, menu, product, accessibility, and advertising requirements. We may recommend review by the client's lawyer, accountant, insurance adviser, or other qualified professional.
